Terms of Service

Effective 2026-09-19 · version v2 · CELESTRY

This English version is provided for reference. The Korean version is the binding text; if the two differ, the Korean version governs.

1. Purpose and operator

These terms set the conditions for using the CELESTRY service provided by Lama Works (the "Operator"). The business name, business registration number and email address appear at the bottom of this page. The representative's name and registered address will be shown under Article 10 of the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce when paid sales begin.

2. What the service does

CELESTRY calculates a Four Pillars (Saju) chart from a birth date and time and provides interpretive content and original stories built on that calculation. Solar terms follow the standard of the Korea Astronomy and Space Science Institute (KASI), and the day pillar matches KASI's own values. The interpretation is a hypothesis. The evidence is shown on screen, but the Operator does not guarantee that an interpretation is correct.

The service is content for entertainment and self-understanding. It is not medical, legal, financial or career advice. Do not use it as the basis for important decisions. The Operator is not responsible for the consequences of decisions made after reading the content.

3. Free use and accounts

The free reading needs no account. To keep past readings and records, you can create an account by signing in with a Google, Kakao or Naver account. There are no passwords.

Only people aged 14 or older may create an account. If the Operator learns that a person under 14 has created an account, the account and its information are deleted without delay.

You can delete your account at any time. Deletion removes your sign-in information, the list of saved readings and your profile. Consent records and purchase records are kept, in a form that cannot identify you, for the period the law requires.

4. Paid content, subscriptions and payment

Subscriptions are not open yet. Monthly and annual subscriptions and the lifetime membership cannot be bought today. The subscription clauses below apply from the day subscriptions open. Before that day these terms are shown again and consent is taken. The clauses on one-off purchases apply from this document's effective date.

Paid content is bought in two ways: a single purchase of one reading, or a subscription that opens the ongoing features.

A subscription is a monthly plan, an annual plan, or a lifetime membership. A subscription gives you the ongoing features — AI counsel, the journal and memory, solar-term reflections and the annual review. The free reading stays free regardless of any subscription.

The monthly and annual plans are recurring. Until you cancel, they renew automatically every month or every year and are charged each time. The next billing date is shown in your account, and you can cancel any time before the next renewal. If you cancel, you keep access through the period already paid for, and it does not renew after that.

Before any price increase, or before a feature provided for free becomes paid, the Operator gives notice of the change and of how to cancel at least 30 days in advance and asks for your consent again. Without your consent, the price is not raised and the feature does not become paid.

The lifetime membership is a single payment with no renewal. "Lifetime" means for as long as the service operates; how discontinuation is handled is set out in Article 7.

Prices are shown before payment and include value-added tax. Payments are processed by a payment gateway under contract with the Operator, which does not store card numbers.

5. Withdrawal and refunds

For single purchases, you may withdraw within 7 days of payment. Under Article 17(2) of the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, withdrawal is restricted for digital content once viewing has begun. This restriction applies only when both conditions are met: the Operator shows before payment that viewing removes the right to withdraw, and provides the free reading and a free opening section of paid content so you can judge the content before paying.

For subscriptions, you may also withdraw within 7 days of payment. If you have not used the subscriber-only features (counsel, journal, memory and the like) during that period, you are refunded in full. If you have already started using them, that portion is subject to the Article 17(2) restriction above.

You may cancel a subscription at any time while it is active. If you cancel a monthly plan, you keep access through the month already paid for and are not charged from the next month. If you cancel an annual plan mid-period, billing stops from the next renewal and you are refunded the remainder after deducting the amount corresponding to the period already used.

For the lifetime membership, you are refunded in full within 7 days of payment if you have not used the subscriber-only features. After 7 days, or once use has begun, refunds are restricted only where this condition was shown again before payment and agreed to separately. If the service ends, you are refunded the amount corresponding to the remaining use under Article 7.

If the content differs from what was displayed or advertised, or from what was agreed, or when a calculation error is confirmed, you may withdraw regardless of whether you have viewed it, within 3 months of receiving the content or within 30 days of learning of the difference.

Refunds go back to the payment method used and are handled within 3 business days of the withdrawal. Send requests to the contact details at the bottom of this page.

6. Scope of use

Paid content is for the personal use of the person who paid for it. It may not be sold, redistributed or collected by automated means. Cards and links created with the sharing features may be shared only within the scope those features define.

Rights in the content, text, images and calculation methods belong to the Operator. Inputs such as birth date and time belong to the person who entered them.

7. Changes and interruptions

The Operator may change the service or discontinue parts of it. If a change would make paid content unavailable, the Operator gives notice in advance and refunds it. If the Operator ends an open-ended subscription such as the lifetime membership for reasons of its own, you are refunded the amount corresponding to the remaining value, taking account of the use up to that point.

Maintenance, outages and problems at external services may interrupt use temporarily. The Operator is not liable for resulting loss unless caused by intent or gross negligence.

8. Personal data

Personal data is handled under the Privacy Policy, which asks for consent separately from these terms.

9. Changes to these terms

The Operator may change these terms. Changed terms are announced on this page at least 7 days before they take effect, and at least 30 days before when a change is unfavourable to users. Continuing to use the service after the effective date counts as accepting the changed terms. If you do not accept them, you may delete your account.

10. Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Consumer disputes are resolved under the Korea Fair Trade Commission's consumer dispute resolution standards, and lawsuits are brought before the court designated by the Civil Procedure Act.

Supplementary provision

These terms take effect on 10 September 2026.
